NTRPA Governing Board Welcomes New Members

Carson City, NV – The Nevada Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (NTRPA) Governing Board welcomed two new members in January 2021. 

 

Commissioner Alexis Hill has been appointed by the Washoe County Commission to represent the county on the NTRPA Governing Board. Commissioner Hill was elected to the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners in 2020, representing Commission District 1. Commissioner Hill’s district includes portions of the northwest and southwest Truckee Meadows extending south along the eastern Sierras to include Incline Village and Crystal Bay at Lake Tahoe. 

 

Haley Williamson, a resident of Stateline, NV joins the NTRPA Governing Board as the Nevada Member at Large. In December 2020, Ms. Williamson was appointed by NTRPA Governing Board as the Nevada Member at Large for a 1-year term from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Ms. Williamson is an attorney with over a decade of experience, specializing in land use and utility law.

 

The NTRPA is responsible for the administration of the provisions of the Lake Tahoe Compact related to gaming space and the cubic volume of "structures housing gaming" (casinos) in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
