The Division of State Lands (NDSL) is recruiting for our Supervisory Land Agent using two different recruitment options along with our Land Use Planner 2 position. please click on the position name to see the recruitment.
State Land Agent 4: This Position functions a the first-line supervisor who trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action. This position requires excellent public relations and communication skills due to the nature of working with a broad network of public and private entities. The position makes frequent contact with administrators and management in other departments, government agencies, and the private sector and so must be effective in building strong working relationships and be an effective collaborator. As the position deals with the most sensitive and complicated real estate transactions, the incumbent must be solution-oriented and able to lead complex negotiations.
State Land Agent 3- Underfill:- the functions are the same as the State Land Agent 4 position, but with a higher level of supervisory oversite until the incumbent meets the standards for the State Land Agent 4 level.
Land Use Planner 2: This position coordinates and facilitates State-wide councils and boards such as the State Land Use Planning Advisory Council (SLUPAC), and the Nevada Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (NTRPA) .
